PCCA utilizes the nationally known A Beka curriculum which incorporates a solid Biblical worldview into all subjects. Reading is taught from a phonics based approach. Students are challenged by certified teachers in the core areas of reading, history, math, science, spelling, grammar, and Bible.
Middle School uses A Beka plus another Christian curriculum from BJU Press in some subjects. Seventh graders take Pre-algebra, while eight graders take Algebra. Writing and critical thinking skills are emphasized.
Specialty classes including music, computer/technology, P.E., art, and Spanish give students a broad, well-rounded education.
Praisers is for grades 2-8, offering extra opportunities to share their voices to praise the Lord at outside events. Band and sports opportunities are also available for middle school students as extracurricular activities.
